BACKGROUND OF TABIKA PERPADUAN

Tabika Perpaduan was first introduced in 1976 by the Community Relations Plan, National Unity Board, Prime Minister's Department. At that time the National Unity Board was responsible for all matters relating to matters of race relations and national unity. A total of 25 Tabika Perpaduan classes were established as part of the pilot project in selected suburbs and cities. The main goal of its establishment at that time was to foster a spirit of goodwill and inter -racial unity.

In the initial stages of its establishment, a committee named Tabika Perpaduan Wellfare Committee (JKTP) was established with the purpose to help teachers develop out-of-class activties within the community. Later, in 1997, JKTP’s role is replaced with the Tabika Perpaduan Coordinating Committee.

In line with needs of the time, Tabika Perpaduan continued to expad throughout the country. With the expansion, the concept of Tabika Perpaduan also changed from an initiative of goodwill from the government to be an agent of socialization for the community. The socialization concept aims to encourage the involvement of the local community in Tabika Perpaduan that encompass welfare, spiritual, safety, recreation and leisure activities.

Following the establishment of the Ministry of National Unity (KPN) on 10 March 2020, the concept of Tabika Perpaduan was further strengthened with the focus on the appreciation of Rukun Negara and its virtues to foster the spirit of unity and love for the country. As of December 2021, there are a total of 1,781 Tabika Perpaduan nationwide and its target still remains of those who are in the urban and suburban areas. Beginning in 2021, the Ministry of National Unity and the Department of National Unity and National Integration will ensure the establishment of new Tabika Perpaduan classes are implemented in a more planned manner as part of its continual improvement process.

EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM OF TABIKA PERPADUAN

Tabika Perpaduan closely adheres to the National Preschool Standard Curriculum (KSPK) developed by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM). The National Preschool Standard Curriculum (KSPK) contains six (6) pillars as the main basis of learning, namely:

 

 

The goal of this KSPK is to develop the potential of students as early as four (4) to six (6) years old in a holistical manner that encompass the development of physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual and social aspects of the students. Based on the goals and six (6) pillars outlined under the KSPK, the Ministry of National Unity further developed a special module for Tabika Perpaduan which also incorporates the Rukun Negara into its education. The elements of nationhood and unity which are added value applied in teaching and learning activities at Tabika Perpaduan are intended to instil and cultivate the spirit of patriotism and unity in students. The added value generated is not only through curricular activities but also applied in co -curricular activities as well.


EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PLAN 2021 – 2030

The Tabika Perpaduan Early Childhood Education Plan 2021-2030 is an initiative of the Ministry of National Unity to futher innovate Tabika Perpaduan Early Childhood Education program. The goal of this plan is to strengthen the role of Tabika Perpaduan as an early childhood education institution in developing student’s potential and producing students who has love for the country and practice virtuous values.

The Tabika Perpaduan Early Childhood Education Plan 2021-2030 is a comprehensive consolidation and total strengthening of the curriculum, teaching and learning methods (PdP), teaching staff, governance, networking and monitoring systems. To achieve the set goals, the Tabika Perpaduan Early Education Plan 2021-2030 outlines six (6) thrusts, they are:

 

Strengthening the elements of nationhood, unity and noble values in the teaching and learning curriculum of Tabika Perpaduan;

 

Strengthening of the teaching and learning methods (PdP);

 

Strengthening the professionalism and expertise of Tabika Perpaduan teachers;

 

Strengthening the governance of the management and operation of Tabika Perpaduan;

 

Strengthening the cooperation of Tabika Perpaduan with the community; and

 

Strengthening the monitoring and evaluation mechanism for the management and operation of Tabika Perpaduan

These six (6) thrusts are in line with the aspirations and strategies of the National Unity Policy and the National Unity Blueprint 2021-2030. This plan is also in line with the aspirations and goals of the National Philosophy of Education and the National Preschool Standard Curriculum. A total of 14 strategies and 40 programs have been put together in an effort to empower Tabika Perpaduan as an educational institution that strives to shape and develop the potential of students aged between four (4) to six (6) years old.

The teaching and learning approach implemented is comprehensive and integrated covering physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual aspects based on the appreciation of Rukun Negara education. Efforts to improve the quality of Tabika Perpaduan which is implemented in an inclusive manner is aimed at ensuring that all students have the opportunity to receive quality education and meet the goals of its establishment as an integration site to sow and cultivate the spirit of unity.

TABIKA PERPADUAN LIST
ADMISSION APPLICATION

Applications to Tabika Perpaduan for the following year's intake of children can be made in March to July of the current year. There are two ways to apply to Tabika Perpaduan, namely:  

  1. Manual:

    • Parents or guardians can go directly to a nearby Tabika Perpaduan to fill in an application.
    • Parents or guardians will be informed of their application results through email, Whatsapp or direct mail by September.
  2. Online :
    • Parents or guardians can fill out the online application form HERE.
    • ii. Parents or guardians will get the results of their application by October 1 via email, whatsapp or direct mail.
THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION OF CHILDREN ARE AS FOLLOWS:
  • The child is a Malaysian citizen
  • Aged 4 - 6 years
  • Children are not at risk of special needs
  • Supporting documents issued by the authorities for the admission of children with adopted child status to a permanent resident or local residents
REVIEW OF APPLICATION

One can request for a confirmation their application after October 1.There are two ways to request for an review, they are:  

  1. Online :

    • Checks can be made HERE
  2. Manual review
    • Parents can obtain confirmation of the child's application for admission to Tabika Perpaduan in writing from the Tabika Perpaduan which application has been made.
APPEAL OF APPLICATION

An appeal for an application for registration of a child to Tabika Perpaduan can be made by sending a letter of appeal directly to the teacher for the class within two weeks after the decision is obtained.  

REGISTRATION AND FEES

For children who are admitted to Tabika Perpaduan, the review of fees, insurance books and uniforms are as prescribed by JPNIN and the Ministry of National Unity from time to time.

Aktiviti pembelajaran berteraskan Bahasa Melayu membolehkan murid memberi respons secara bertatasusila terhadap pelbagai bahan rangsangan yang didengar, berkomunikasi dan menyampaikan idea, membaca dan memahami ayat mudah, menulis perkataan, frasa dan ayat mudah.
The learning experience will enable pupils to listen and respond using appropriate verbal and non-verbal responses, communicate using simple sentences with manners, read and understand simple sentences, write words and phrases.

 

Matematik

 

Sains
Aktiviti pembelajaran berteraskan Matematik membolehkan murid memupuk minat dalam matematik melalui pelbagai aktiviti dan pengalaman seharian, menguasai konsep asas matematik, meningkatkan kemahiran berfikir dan menyelesaikan masalah.
Aktiviti pembelajaran berteraskan Sains membolehkan murid mengembangkan sikap ingin tahu dan minat tentang dunia di sekeliling mereka, menguasai kemahiran saintifik dan berfikir secara kreatif dan kritis, mengamalkan sikap saintifik dan nilai murni, berinteraksi dan berkongsi maklumat serta menyelesaikan masalah.
    

 

Pendidikan Islam dan Jawi

 

Pendidikan Moral
Aktiviti pembelajaran berteraskan Pendidikan Islam membolehkan murid mengenal huruf-huruf hijaiyah, menghafaz surah-surah pendek dan mempelajari Bahasa Arab mudah, memahami asas beriman dan beribadah kepada Allah, mengenali sirah dan peribadi Rasulullah SAW serta berusaha mencontohinya, mengamalkan adab dan akhlak yang mulia dalam kehidupan, membolehkan murid mengenal huruf-huruf hijaiyah, menghafaz surah-surah pendek dan mempelajari Bahasa Arab mudah, membaca suku kata dan menulis huruf jawi dengan betul.
 
Pendidikan Moral memfokuskan pembentukan insan berakhlak mulia dengan berteraskan tiga domain iaitu keupayaan mental untuk mengenal pasti perlakuan baik atau benar dan perlakuan jahat atau salah, kesedaran perasaan moral melahirkan kesedaran untuk berkelakuan baik apabila membuat sesuatu yang betul dan rasa bersalah apabila melakukan sesuatu yang tidak betul, tindakan moral yang ada kaitan antara penaakulan moral dan emosi moral secara rela hati dengan rasa bertanggungjawab, akauntabiliti dan berintegriti.

Aktiviti pembelajaran berteraskan Pendidikan Islam membolehkan murid mengenal huruf-huruf hijaiyah, menghafaz surah-surah pendek dan mempelajari Bahasa Arab mudah, memahami asas beriman dan beribadah kepada Allah, mengenali sirah dan peribadi Rasulullah SAW serta berusaha mencontohinya, mengamalkan adab dan akhlak yang mulia dalam kehidupan, membolehkan murid mengenal huruf-huruf hijaiyah, menghafaz surah-surah pendek dan mempelajari Bahasa Arab mudah, membaca suku kata dan menulis huruf jawi dengan betul.
